My dear friends Scott & Heather had family in town from Texas, so we met up at Hartwood Acres to snap some photos. We managed to dodge the rain which, in Western PA, has been quite a challenge lately. Loved spending time with these families and enjoyed watching the cousins play together!
It’s cloudy (pretty great for photos) and a little drizzly outside. Malachi and I were hanging out at home while everyone else was being responsible and working…so I grabbed my camera and told Chi to get dressed and we did a mini shoot at a few spots near the house. He’s such a handsome 13 (!!) year old and has recently started to wear glasses (from Party City…completely for looks and not at all for his vision). I absolutely love his laugh and his expressive personality!
What a beautiful day at Genesee Country Village Museum for Bryan and Noelle’s wedding! I was a second shooter for this wedding with my dear friend Becky of Blooming Branch Photography.
As many of you know, my husband and I recently moved back to Pittsburgh, PA – my home town. For the past few years, I have been second shooting weddings with my friend Becky (www.bloomingbranchphotography.com). Last summer, I shot 8 weddings with Blooming Branch and 2 on my own. Now back in Pennsylvania, I’m excited to capture some wedding memories for you! Here are a few of my photos from 201
I had the privilege to join Advance Community Church on their most recent trip the the DR. We stayed in San Pedro and worked in a batey named Bembe. If you’d like to know what we built — we built relationships. We believe that while building material things is helpful (and we did do some of that) building relationships in which we can share the gospel takes precedence.
We also believe that overseas missions is important. But it’s not exclusive — God has called us to serve at home AND abroad. It must be both.
Here are just a few photos from the week!
It’s such a joy to watch a family grow. I took some photos for Kristie, Chad, and Kenzie this past spring and loved the chance to do a session this fall! Chad and Kristie are expecting baby #2 in January and Kenzie is thrilled to be a big sister. We had a beautiful fall morning for photos. The only downside to fall, is the leaves do a wonderful job hiding the swamp that I so gracefully stepped backwards into. The only casualty was my worn out pair of Toms. I was thankful for the 70 degree weather, because the rest of the shoot was done barefoot!
