Sometimes I get excited about photography sessions because I get to shoot in a unique, outdoor location. This particular session took place in a small, drab courtroom in downtown Butler…It might be one of my favorites, though. Here’s why: the Slay family has been fostering twin girls for the past 8 months. Last Friday, they sat before a (very kind and patient) judge and entered into a legally binding relationship –with Addie & Eleanor– as their new and forever parents. Not a dry eye people. It was beautiful and memorable and such an incredible picture of the gospel of Jesus Christ who chose us and adopted us as his children forever.
