I had the privilege to join Advance Community Church on their most recent trip the the DR. We stayed in San Pedro and worked in a batey named Bembe. If you’d like to know what we built — we built relationships. We believe that while building material things is helpful (and we did do some of that) building relationships in which we can share the gospel takes precedence.
We also believe that overseas missions is important. But it’s not exclusive — God has called us to serve at home AND abroad. It must be both.
